I found mdnsresponder is required to specify when I install avahi, with or without it I have to say it explictly in make.conf. But there is no description of mdnsresponder-compact in portage profile.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. grep -i 'mdns' /usr/portage/profile/use.desc;
2. emerge -pv net-dns/avahi;
3. See bug#222763 bug#198267
Actual Results:  
The USE flag is missing in profile of portage.

Expected Results:  
The USE flag should be describe briefly if it is still alive.

Hi, it is described properly. This flag is a 'local' one, meaning it is in use.local.desc.

(quse is part of portage-utils)
