All versions of samba greater than 3.0 don't provide the necessary drivers to Windows. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install samba with windows printer drivers and start it
2. under Windows connect to the samba provided printer
3.

Actual Results:  
Windows is complaining about the server not providing the necessary drivers and ask for the location to find the drivers

Expected Results:  
Windows should find the drivers on the server

I've tested this with WindowsXP and samba versions 3.0.37, 3.2.15, 3.4.6, 3.5.0 and 3.5.2. Only with 3.0.37 the driver was provided to Windows. All other versions failed. Since the drivers was installed via samba 3.0.37 all other versions worked too. Only the driver install via samba don't work.

Do you mean printer driver support? As far as I know samba does not provide printer drivers, so you have to copy/install your own.

Please elaborate this statement (use flags, smb.configuration, etc):
