It is more than 30 days to tree so I guess it is ok to stabilize it. What do you guys think? gnash... stable? you have to be kidding. i'd keep it in ~arch few more years. I am still seeing stability and performance issues with gnash-0.8.7. The version which is presently under development appears to be shaping up nicely and could be a candidate for stable. I can not confirm stability issues. Although gnash is not feature complete, it performs better than adobe-flash on my machines (x86, amd64). And gnash is even more secure than adobe-flash. I opened a discussion (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-6256746.html) to get more opinions and see if there are great stability issues. |
