new ebuild applyning the two attached patches
tested the patches on my laptop and it does indeed fix those 2 annoying bugs and it applied cleanly. Both patches went into kde-4.4.3... since we already have shiny new kde-4.4.3 ebuilds and will have shiny new kde-4.4.3 in three days, I'll resolve this as WONTFIX. Reopened for 4.4.2 tracking I made a 4.4.2 ebuild in the kde overlay applying these two patches. Please test. lxnay has backported another worthy powerdevil bugfix from upstream in the in-tree powerdevil-4.4.3-r1.ebuild (files/powerdevil-4.4.3-fix-sleep-205453.patch) to fix upstream b.k.o 205453 (suspend to ram is ignored if the screensaver is active, or screen is locked). If 4.4.2 is still a candidate for stabling, we should probably make a powerdevil-4.4.2-r2 including that patch as well as the attached two. Now in tree. As a note, we're going with 4.4.4 stabilization (without 30 day waiting period, it's just patch release over 4.4.2 anyway) |
