Cannot reproduce here. Can you post output of emerge --info and ldd /opt/googleearth/googleearth-bin ? Seems like ( http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=566011 ) the symbol at some point moved from libXi to libX11 so the versions of these libraries have to be both new to ensure you have the symbol. As far as I can tell the emul package has them right. Could be some old version of the library orphaned on your system, or something. Sorry, I found I did have some older version of libXi and libX11 in LD_LIBRARY_PATH for some other app that I hadn't noticed before. It's working now. Thanks. |
