Hi Alan I'm sorry to say that this bug didn't receive a lot of attention. That said, Xfree isn't, shouldn't ever have been and doubtfully ever was, part of system. If it was a problem, it's fixed by now. ;) Do 'emerge -ep system' and see for yourself that xfree isn't in the list. I'm closing this as INVALID. Please reopen and jump on me if it's not. Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux". I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers, this is the only reasonable way to do this. |
