Hello:

This is a quick and dirty ebuild for bitlbee 1.2.6a.  I'm running it locally - it's literally a copy of the 1.2.4 ebuild.

Among other things that I ignored, bitlbee 1.2.6a supports Twitter if you pass it the right configure flags, so this ebuild adds a useflag for that. As far as I can tell, twitter support doesn't cause any changes in deps.

Err... Since the maintainer didn't give any visible life sign in a previous version bump request ( http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312901 ), would it be possible to assign this bug report to maintainer-needed@gentoo.org so that at least the sunrise could take this into account ?

Calm down. We are not supposed to make bump in less then 20 days. I will do the bump request when I will have the time to test it correctly.

Why was this bug created in addition to the previous version bump (bug #312901) that wasn't resolved yet?

Anyway, it's best to provide a diff between the old ebuild in the tree and the new version so others can easily see what has been changed.
