Slotting would solve that, but the dependancies would get messy if the two cannot run at the same time? Can they? evms 1 and 2 can not be slotted sanely, they stomp all over each other. If you want to stop portage upgrading evms to 2 do the following: mkdir -p /etc/portage echo ">sys-fs/evms-2" >> /etc/portage/package.mask Then portage will never try to upgrade to anything over evms-2.0.0 |
