Package and version fields would make it really
easy to check bugs before installing package.

There should be also switch in emerge that shows
number of bugs per package.

Package and version fields would also enable
automatic evalution of packages. For example
it would be possible to write script to make
"package.mask" based on bugs and time past 
after package release.

this is better suited for the gentoo-stats and gentoo-stable project that
are currently being worked on.  Integrating this into bugzilla would require
too much custom code, making future upgrades to the product very difficult.
