One file to the files directory
Hey thanks. Seems to work fine. Although, I think you should move the configuration file to /etc/ somewhere. /usr/share/yahoopops/yahoopopsrc is not too obvious. Created attachment 31808 [details]
Slightly modified ebuild
I've been running the previous version for a few days ok using the supplied
init script.
However after sometime yahoopops seems to die for no reason.
I have modified the ebuild to put the config files somewhere more sensible
(/etc/yahoopops/) and added the Gentoo Copyright and Licence headers to keep
repoman happy ;)
I'm not sure that this is ready for realtime yet. I for one don't like the fact that all the directory choices are defined at compile time! However changing that will require one big path and the ability for the code to take some commandline options :) The MIME++ archive, mimepp-1.3.3.tar.gz has recently been removed from the YahooPOPs download site, so the current ebuild is now broken. Your submission of the ebuild is appreciated. I've talked to some of the net-mail developers and we're not going to put this ebuild in the tree at this point, for the following reasons: 1. fetchyaoo and yosucker cover the same functionality, and are already in the tree. 2. The removal of the The MIME++ archive, mimepp-1.3.3.tar.gz has broken the current ebuild. *** Bug 158406 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
