Run `lafilefixer --justfixit` and `revdep-rebuild`. (In reply to comment #3) > Most likely a system with broken .la files. Run `lafilefixer --justfixit` and > `revdep-rebuild`. > it was not helpful solved whith MAKEOPTS="-j1" I have this same problem and it looks very much like a parallel ``make install'' issue. I don't really have the slightest idea where to look for a fix either. Perhaps the issue is related to me locally patching imagemagick and calling eautoreconf; I have automake-1.11.1 and libtool-2.2.6b. Perhaps the newer automake's methods of making deps between different libtool archive files is somehow not working properly. One thing to note is that imagemagick-6.5.8.8 uses automake-1.11.1 whereas imagemagick-6.5.2.9 uses automake-1.10.2 and doesn't have this problem. I propose that the make install step have -j1 until the source of this problem can be actually found and fixed. try 6.6.1.2 I have similar situation with imagemagick-6.6.2.5 (i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.4.3) and MAKEOPT="-j1". Make sure to run 'perl-cleaner --reallyall' after dev-lang/perl upgrade. Make sure to read postinst message from libpng upgrade. And try re-emerging libtool just in case. If it still fails after those, then attach build.log here (or new bug) and we'll talk :) |
