Build log
try to remerge kdelibs > try to remerge kdelibs
Unfortunately, this does not solve the problem. The results are the same.
Probably because kdirstat has some specific options set to build around kde 3.1 and not quite supportive of 3.2 yet. Looks like you're building against 3.2. > Looks like you're building against 3.2.
Yes, but not intentionally. I've got two KDE installations, 3.1.4 and 3.2-alpha2.
It is said that there are no problems having installed both versions because
they live in separate directories. But here it looks like there are some
subtle interferences.
Anyhow, since 3.2 final will be out in a couple of weeks, the problem will
propably disappear without taking any action.
I tried with a recent CVS-build of KDE 3.2 and kdirstat emerged without problems, you might want to try the recent KDE 3.2-RC. With KDE 3.2-RC the validity error is gone, but I still cant emerge. I dont know what to do now, if we should close the bug or not. Here's the new problem: $ emerge kdirstat ... make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdirstat-2.4.0/work/kdirstat-2.4.0/po' Making all in doc make[2]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdirstat-2.4.0/work/kdirstat-2.4.0/doc' Making all in en make[3]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdirstat-2.4.0/work/kdirstat-2.4.0/doc/en' /usr/kde/3.2/bin/meinproc --check --cache index.cache.bz2 ./index.docbook /usr/kde/3.2/share/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/en/entities/update-doc.docbook:3: parser error : Entity 'package' not defined url="http://docs.kde.org/current/&package;/">http://docs.kde.org/current/&packag ^ /usr/kde/3.2/share/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/en/entities/update-doc.docbook:3: parser error : Entity 'package' not defined l="http://docs.kde.org/current/&package;/">http://docs.kde.org/current/&package; ^ /usr/kde/3.2/share/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/en/entities/update-doc.docbook:4: parser error : chunk is not well balanced ^ index.docbook:1506: error: Failure to process entity updating.documentation &updating.documentation; ^ index.docbook:1506: parser error : Entity 'updating.documentation' not defined &updating.documentation; ^ make[3]: *** [index.cache.bz2] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdirstat-2.4.0/work/kdirstat-2.4.0/doc/en' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdirstat-2.4.0/work/kdirstat-2.4.0/doc' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdirstat-2.4.0/work/kdirstat-2.4.0' make: *** [all] Error 2 !!!
