I can't replicate that here with anything from livejournal.com. Can you give me a reproducible example? Towards the top of the Livejournal.com main page there's a "Welcome" link. Hover over that then click "Login". It crashes without fail here. I'm just re-emerging 1.5 now and will see if there is any output on a console etc... works over here. If recompiling doesn't change anything, try (re-)moving your .mozilla this also has no effect. are you using a similar arch and cflags to me? seems to be a locale problem : when mozilla can't draw a symbol, usually you have small boxes (like euro when it was not supported) : if your locale don't have a symbol used, it seems to crash mozilla. has anyone an idea to resolve this ? On other distros, the output of such symbols is like this : (whereas my mozilla or firebird crashes) : http://www.ifrance.com/bmoserveur/bug-locales.png should we maybe compare use flags for people's that work and those that don't? I had the same problem but when i emerged corefonts crashing stopped. Problem was that corefonts were masked (~) and i recently emerged world and changed accept keywords to stable only. Is this bug fixed with more recent mozillas? No response, assuming fixed |
