The file available on the mirrors as mozilla-source-1.5.tar.bz2 has wrong size and digest.

Steps to reproduce:

emerge /usr/portage/net-www/mozilla/mozilla-1.5.ebuild

Have you tried deleting the file in /usr/portage/distfiles and redownloading
it? And if you have done so, do remember the mirror you downloaded the file
from?

I am the mirror. I tried resyncing with the official source mirror once again
and there was nothing to update according to rsync. Downloading the file
from ftp.mozilla.org produces a file that matches the digest.

Any mirror is the same. I tried with mine ftp://ftp.gg3.net/pub/linux/gentoo/,
but it also applies for ftp://rsync4.jp.gentoo.org/GENTOO/

Since rsync says the bad file is also on ftp.orergonstate.edu I'd say it
is a problem there.

Is OSU again having problems with hardware?

As of Sat Oct 18 10:11:49 CEST 2003 the digest dosn't match mozilla-source-1.5.tar.bz2
from the following mirrors:
tricia.cc.gatech.edu (ftp.mozilla.org[130.207.108.134])
mozilla.ussg.indiana.edu (ftp.mozilla.org[129.79.6.160])
ftp://ftp.tu-clausthal.de (Gentoo mirror)

Everytime before downloading I deleted all distfiles.

The error message:
!!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match)

>>>  your file's digest: 0138672505ba10e9db296d47387e4c71
!!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//mozilla-source-1.5.tar.bz2

message from portage is dead wrong:
