Description Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-07 15:24:30 UTC
Looks like something with your rsync setup broke.

@ERROR: chroot failed
rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1383) [receiver=2.6.9]

Could you please let us know when you have looked into this and resolved the problem? I'm pulling it from the pools in the meantime.

Thanks,

Mark

We had a complete power failure in 1 of our datacenters last night. The raid array in this server didn't survive. I'm working on getting it running again asap.

No rush then, thanks for the prompt update. Good luck :)

The machine is restored, but it has to rsync a lot of data (it's not only running a gentoo mirror). I expect the mirror to be operational again on monday.

Thanks for the update. I'll wait until Monday and add the mirror into our testing system so we can monitor it before adding it back to all the rotations.
