I suggest removing the python dependency in libglade. libglade doesn't really use python, it just has some obscure script (libglade-convert) that converts *.glade files from old libglade versions. Other packages have such perl/python scripts, too, yet they don't depend on perl/python. E.g.: gtk-builder-convert in x11-libs/gtk+. + 08 Nov 2010; Gilles Dartiguelongue <eva@gentoo.org> libglade-2.6.4.ebuild: + Fix support for python interpreter not being python 2, bug #313451. Pin + glib and gtk+ to slot 2. Should be fine now, please tell us if you want something more than current patch. Thanks for reporting. |
