I've been using this on x86/amd64 and have come across a few minor issues with the distribution config file.

 1. The default `reportemail = root` attempts to send reports with mail(1) which won't necessarily exist.

 2. The default `logfile = /var/lib/log/backupninja.log` doesn't make much sense on Gentoo.

 3. If you're using `reporthost` then the default path for `reportdirectory` won't exist on your target Gentoo machines.

Apart from the faulty default config (mentioned in comment #2), it seems ok to go on x86.
