The current ebuild of net-im/choqok has file collisions with the previous release of choqok due to SLOT changes. The previous build (0.6.6) used SLOT 6 while the current one (0.9.55 aka 1.0 beta 1) uses SLOT 4. This results in not uninstalling the previous build when installing the current one - which leads to file collisions. By simply adding this line to the end of the current ebuild this issue is fixed and portage does a clean upgrade: DEPEND="!net-im/choqok:6" Portage does now: ebuild NS ] net-im/choqok-0.9.55-r1 [0.6.6] [uninstall ] net-im/choqok-0.6.6 [blocks b ] net-im/choqok:6 ("net-im/choqok:6" is blocking net-im/choqok-0.9.55-r1) Reproducible: Always
