Other than looking ugly, I don't think this breaks anything at all does it? Why does it need to be fixed? (It means major surgery to upstream buildsystem). The number of duplicated lpthread calls in linker commands was reduced substantially on mariadb-5.2 series and has disappeared on mysql-5.5 (cmake build system). As such, I'd close this bug as WONTFIX / CANTFIX (as we don't have the time to fix mysql-5.1 build system for this), UPSTREAM (it's an upstream issue) or as FIXED (even though we haven't fixed it and it's still present on mysql 5.1.59). |
