Hi, the failure you are observing is due to missing doom-levels. Einfo of doomsday states:

 * To play the original Doom levels, place doom.wad and/or doom2.wad
 * into /usr/share/games/doom-data
 * Then run doomsday-doom or doomsday-doom2 accordingly.

 * You can even emerge doom-data and/or freedoom, with the doomsday use
 * flag enabled, to play for free

So, if you have the original doom.wad files around, put them in the right place. Otherwise emerge freedoom with the doomsday useflag and run

doomsday-freedoom

In the future please don't use pastebins for bug reports as things you pasted there will dissappear eventually. Please attach logs to the bug. I'm closing the bug as invalid, as it is not really a bug. Feel free to reopen if you're still having trouble.
