The ILISP-CVS ebuild based on ilisp-5.12.0
This .ebuild just checks out the latest version of the app-emacs/ilisp project
and compiles it installing it using the elisp portage interface. So,
apparently, this should be a pretty clean way of doing this. The keywords
are
set to ~x86 only as with the original ilisp-5.12.0 ebuild, but I guess we
could
be a bit more optimistic since it should run on all architectures for which
emacs was ported. But I thought it better to maintain consistency for now
at
least.

This is the file that will be added to the site-lisp
This is basically a copy (as far as I remember) of the file that has been
used
in previous versions. Actually I don't agree with this system very much,
because this configuration ought to be a bit more dynamic, since you can
always
add or remove compilers and that means you have to edit the files and recreate
the site-start.el manually...But this way works well enough so who am I to
complain right? :P
Actually, the release candidates of the app-emacs/ilisp package seem to work pretty well and already allow for a more configurable ilisp. Hence this package isn't that useful... wrong product - reassigning. Tiago, Yes, app-emacs/ilisp now tries to follow Debian's port, which is a CVS snapshot also. Matt |
