I believe that bittorrent 3.3 should be considered stable now (put up on 25 Sep
2003).  The author highly recommends everyone upgrading.

However, the current stable BT for x86 has a Gentoo-specific feature (added
by the previous maintainer) that should probably be moved to a bittorrent-gentoo
or similar prior to marking the normal one stable. I'll try to do this ASAP,
but if I don't, I'll stablize it in 10 days (a month later from addition)...

It has been 10 days, but in that time there is a (somewhat major) bug that
has been found in BT 3.3. It does not resume files created by older BT versions.
I think this bug is important enough to prevent stable-izing the ebuild.

BTW, feel free to reopen the bug if you have a patch to fix the problem.

3.3.0 marked stable on x86. The -stats patch has also been moved to bittorrent-stats.
