emerging with USE="-doc" (qwt in my case) and then coin works - as expected + 25 Jun 2010; Justin Lecher <jlec@gentoo.org> qwt-5.2.0.ebuild, + qwt-5.2.1.ebuild: + Blocking media-libs/coin when USE=doc + + 25 Jun 2010; Justin Lecher <jlec@gentoo.org> coin-3.1.0.ebuild, + coin-3.1.2.ebuild: + Blocking x11-libs/qwt[doc], #312043 + How about renaming file instead of blocking otherwise not-related to each other packages? (In reply to comment #3) > How about renaming file instead of blocking otherwise not-related to each other > packages? > As only the man packages are hitting each other I would say it is acceptable to not install them, if both packages are present. How would your solution look like? I have better idea, since Coin installs whole bunch of manual pages (with likely colliding names like sound or threads), I'll install manpages in alternate location. Also, taking over maintenance. |
