After upgrading to net-print/cups-1.3.11-r1 the pdftops filter was not installed into /usr/libexec/cups/filter, so the poppler provdied pdftops found at /usr/bin/pdftops was used.  This caused the pdftops help text to appear in the cups error_log file as the parameters used were incorrect for that version of pdftops.  Thus no printing could be done from KDE as it sends PDFs as its output format.

Upgrading to net-print/cups-1.4.2-r1 (unstable) installed pdftops into /usr/libexec/cups/filter.  Now when printing from any KDE application the printer warms up, but nothing is printed.  The /var/log/cups/error_log file shows no errors, but reports "sending data file (0 bytes)".

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Print from any KDE application
2.Select any configured printer
3.Click on "Print"

Actual Results:  
Nothing is printed.

Expected Results:  
Job printed to printer.

Re-setting the printer driver has resolved the problem.
