if you want to install any slf4j-*-1.5.11 or other ebuilds portage fails to get the files.

In the ebuild it says 
HOMEPAGE="http://www.slf4j.org/"
# Get from http://www.slf4j.org/dist/${P/-nop/}.tar.gz
SRC_URI="mirror://gentoo/${P}-sources.jar"

Ebuild should prompt for user intervention in download process.

Forgot to upload. Sorry about that. They will be there at least within a day. It all depends on how fast your mirror gets them.
