I open a PDF with okular, then i select print and i choose to print multiple copies of it. The result is that i get just one copy of that document printed. the printer is an hp2605dn with latest cups and hplip/foomatic installed

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open a pdf with okular
2.select "print..."
3.increase the number of desired copy from the right panel

Actual Results:  
one copy of the document is printed

Expected Results:  
multiple copies should have been created

Which version of kde do you have, and does this still happen with 4.3.5 or 4.4.2?

this was happening with 4.3.5 that is the current stable version with gentoo amd64

This is fixed since kde-4.4.0. 

Given that kde-4.4.4 is going stable soon, there's no point in backporting.
