Bug 310939 – gnome-base/gnome-control-center-2.28.1-r2 does not expose aboutme useflag

gnome-control-center does not build the gnome-about-me capplet, in fact the ebuild tries to use the flag but does not declare it on the IUSE.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gnome-control-center
2.run gnome-about-me


Actual Results:  
gnome-about-me is not installed

Expected Results:  
gnome-about-me should be installed IF the aboutme useflag is enabled

ebuild that solves issue

This ebuild contais a two line modification that solves the issue for me...

please provide build.log, this change looks just wrong since eds use flag controls the build of about me capplet.

ebuild gnome-control-center-2.28.1-r3.ebuild configure

The EDS use flag seems to be broken, as no --disable option should be used...

As to the aboutme use flag, using my ebuild it is no longer controled by the eds useflag.

The attached build.log shows that eds is disbled, and the aboutme is enabled.

Well, I was trying to decouple the aboutme from the eds useflag, but now I see why you made it depend on eds!

I just wanted the easier to find "change password" option!

please close this as WONTFIX, and sorry for the noise...
