After downgrading to gstreamer-0.10.25, and its plugins, banshee and totem are working. So it does seem to be .28 that is buggy. I'm guessing this bug is gonna be closed very quickly without any *actual* information. actual information would be : the symptoms you experienced with banshee or totem (stopped working is abit vague). Start either banshee or totem from the console and report the errors they're spurting out. Didn't see the pastebins at the top. Looks like banshee and totem can't find basic elements (shipped with core gstreamer) like tee or typefind... but yet has decodebin... Having the output of: * gst-inspect-0.10 -b * GST_DEBUG=2 totem would help a lot Ok, I downgraded to get things working again, then when you said you needed more info, I re-emerged .28, taking it out of my package.mask, and it seems to be working this time... ninja@ninjaserv ~ $ gst-inspect-0.10 -b Blacklisted files: Total count: 0 blacklisted files |
