Description DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre, aka DoubleHP 2010-03-16 23:46:19 UTC
When using drag and drop from Firefox to a ROX-Filer, rox should start a download application to grab the web content. Since Firefox 3.5, we have this error:

uri_list_to_glist: Incorrect or missing line break in text/uri-list data
---
Error getting file list: No URIs in the text/uri-list (nothing to do!)

As explained on http://old.nabble.com/Fwd:-Drag-from-Firefox-3.5-error-td24294279.html Firefox 3.5 has a formatting issue (the same error occurs with Opera ATM).

Rox team claim that the problem is that Firefox broke their API, and that Mozilla team is wrong. The bug is still present in Firefox 3.6 .

But Rox team decided to fix the issue on their side for the confort of Rox users.

The fix is available in this shot:
 http://rox.sourceforge.net/snapshots/rox-filer-smw.tgz

Please update portage so that rox-base/rox-2.10-r1 will use this source instead of the old one - or build a diff/patch if using this source is not possible.

As this may affect other applications, please, consider fixing Firefox and Opera on long term.

We cannot include the snapshot as it changes along the time, the exact needed change would be needed
