There are several problems in xfs-sources-2.4.20-r3 for gcc 3.3 that have been
fixed already in gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r7. The things I am talking about are
patched with gentoo-sources-2.4.20-gcc33.patch.

Could someone please provide a similar patch for xfs-sources?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xfs-sources
2. config your kernel in such a way that ide-cd.c is compiled
3. compile the kernel

Actual Results:  
compilation fails with a complaint about the type of 'slot_tablelen', which is
defined as '__u8 short' and should be '__u16'. This is just one of the things
patched.

Expected Results:  
Compiled successfully

gcc 3.3 patch for xfs-sources

I manually made the changes to the xfs-sources kernel source while looking
at
the original patch and then generated a patch from the difference between
the
original xfs-sources and the modified ones.

Please check if it's ok. It works for me.
