i dont see any of these failures. please re-do your tests with sane LDFLAGS/CFLAGS first. CXXFLAGS="-O2 -g" CFLAGS="-O2 -g" LDFLAGS="" emerge -1 sys-devel/binutils -> same result the summary output is not terribly useful. you need to post the actual ld.log file from the build dir that contains all the in-depth test info. as an attachment of course. my /bin/sh is dash, if I change it back to bash the tests pass Upstream seems to be working on it: http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11426 thanks. since it doesnt seem to be a regression, i wont let it block stabilization of a newer version. once things get sorted out in unstable, i may backport to stable it's my understanding that this should be fixed in at least 2.22 |
