crossdev --target arm-none-linux-gnu and crossdev --target arm-none-linux-gnueabi fail to emerge cross-gcc-stage1 on core2 system.

soon I will attach the logfiles.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge crossdev
2. crossdev --target arm-none-linux-gnu

Actual Results:  
 * Emerging cross-gcc-stage1 ...

 * gcc failed :(
 * If you file a bug, please attach the following logfiles:
 * /var/log/portage/cross-arm-none-linux-gnu-info.log
 * /var/log/portage/cross-arm-none-linux-gnu-gcc-stage1.log


Expected Results:  
emerge goes smoothly and continues to the end so we have a working toolchain.

This prevents some experimentation with gentoo running on my ARM-based boards.

I see this on the build.log:

Unknown arch used in --with-arch=arm

is it correct ? Why doesn't it understand ARM ??

after an emerge --sync today, it's working fine. I've got a cross toolchain now.
