Bug 307053 – mail-client/evolution-2.26.3 often freezes on --component calendar when grouping tasks by status

I am using 6 different local calendars and 7 lists of tasks. Evolution freezes very often when switching to the calendar view or using the next day or week button often. After a crash I do killall evolution and killall evolution-data-server. If I switch of all tasks lists, there is no crash.

It seems the evolution-data-server-2.26.3 is too slow. I can reproduce the crash using the next week button often and fast. After a crash I can use the button including the week the crash was. But some shown weeks later evolution crashes again.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the view of calendar with shown tasks on the right side
2.Push the button "next" often until evolution crashes.

I changed the summary because evolution does not crash when the tasks at the right side are not grouped.

Can you try with latest evolution-2.28? Some improvements were made by upstream in caledars and maybe they fix issues like these

Ok, I installed Evolution 2.28.3.1 yesterday. 
I had two crashes today, when I group the task on "done" (German: Abgeschlossen). I set a new date to a task which is not "done".

For them, please open a new bug report once you get a proper backtrace. For taking it, look at:
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml

and also install gnome-extra/bug-buddy
