seems to be a syntactical error in the ebuild for lyx (1.3.2-r1 / 1.3.3): ------- if use gnome; then insinto /usr/share/applications doins ${FILESDIR}/lyx.desktop fi ------- I think this should be "if [ `use gnome` ]; then /.../ fi". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge lyx 2. check in menu for lyx --> nothing 3. check /usr/share/applications for lyx.desktop --> nothing Actual Results: emerge lyx and have a menu-entry Expected Results: correcting the ebuild should help, I guess (if I'm not completely wrong)...
