could you please enable portage logging and attach the relevant complete log file of the emerge? In attempting to comply with the request below I discovered that the latest version of portage has inadvertently solved the problem, as I can now complete the compile without a problem. The only changes I made between times were upgrading portage, gcc (to 3.2.3-r2), ncurses, and mysql. I am assuming that gcc was not at fault, but that it was some strange portage issue. The only feature I had enabled was ccache, which is still enabled. odd. anyway, closing since it doesn't occur anymore. |
