Arch teams, please stablize gentoo-sources-2.6.31-r10 and vanilla-sources-2.6.31.12 x86 stable Marked ppc/ppc64 stable. alpha/arm/ia64/sh/sparc stable Please move gentoo-sources-2.6.31-r10 back to unstable on x86 - ext4 fails to mount rw during boot if CONFIG_LBDAF is not set. (In reply to comment #5) > Please move gentoo-sources-2.6.31-r10 back to unstable on x86 - ext4 fails to > mount rw during boot if CONFIG_LBDAF is not set. > That is not a bug. It is as designed and not a reason to not stable x86 or any arch. The ext4 filesystem requires that this feature be enabled in order to support filesystems that have the huge_file feature enabled. Otherwise, it will refuse to mount in the read-write mode any filesystems that use the huge_file feature, which is enabled by default by mke2fs.ext4. > That is not a bug. I.e., if I'll recreate my ext4 partition with this feature disabled, that will solve this problem?
