/bin/grep: /usr/lib/libMagickCore.la: No such file or directory /usr/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libMagickCore.la: No such file or directory libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libMagickCore.la' is not a valid libtool archive make[1]: *** [coders/svg.la] Error 1 make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick-6.5.9.4-r1/work/ImageMagick-6.5.9-4' Sorry, this is actually a false alarm. I'm not sure where the exact error was, but apparently the actual /usr/lib/libMagickCore.la outside the sandbox or else a dependency .la installed on the system became corrupt. lafilefixer --justfixit modified at least eighty installed .LAs when it ran. IM now compiles. There was a /usr/lib/libMagickCore.la installed on the actual system (modified by lafilefixer when it ran), plus another in the sandbox which had a non-zero size, but was reported not to exist by file(1) and most anything else I ran against it besides ls. I still have no idea about that last. |
