build log
[ebuild N ] kde-base/knetwalk-4.4.0 USE="handbook (-aqua) -debug (-kdeenablefinal) (-kdeprefix)" -- Check for working CXX compiler: /usr/lib/ccache/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -- Check for working CXX compiler: /usr/lib/ccache/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -- broken CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/CMakeTestCXXCompiler.cmake:43 (MESSAGE): The C++ compiler "/usr/lib/ccache/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu-g++" is not able to compile a simple test program. That looks like your g++ (compiler) is broken, not the package. Try without ccache. FEATURES="-ccache" Your advice works well. Thanks a lot! Opening to add correct resolution. I'll see if I get the motivation to look at the KDE guide and add a large, red block telling people to disable ccache before reporting any KDE bugs. |
