Description honeymak 2010-02-17 03:15:14 UTC
F*EX (Frams' Fast File EXchange) is a service to send big (large, huge, giant, ...) files from a user A to a user B.

The sender uploads the file to the F*EX server using a WWW upload form and the recipient automatically gets a notification e-mail with a download-URL.

Reproducible: Always

That might be net-misc/fex. I have in fact a slightly stale ebuild here:
marga /keeps/gentoo/local/net-misc/fex # ls -l
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 437 2009-09-07 19:05 fex-20090827.ebuild

But it isn't really usable.

Any news on this? Either we call it "fex" (as in http://fex.rus.uni-stuttgart.de/) of "fffex" (as in http://freecode.com/projects/fffex). Latest version is on http://fex.rus.uni-stuttgart.de/ however.
