Description ralph65536 2010-02-16 14:23:03 UTC
I tried to install taxidraw. The installation failed with unmatched keyword. Later when I used /etc/portage/package.keywords and tried to install taxidraw, succeeded installation. I can work with TaxiDraw well. Maybe the unmatched keyword ebuild fail could be removed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Try to install taxidraw with sudo `emerge taxidraw'
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The installation fails with unmatched keyword (which means that the package shouldn't work on my system)

Expected Results:
The installation should succeed.

I used package.keyword with the ' **' suffixed line and installed taxidraw and it worked smoothly.

The ebuild is only keyworded for "x86", it's normal to get that kind of message if it's not tested yet for anything else. So what you are really asking here, is a new keyword for it? Is that a arm, hppa, ppc, amd64... what?

Please post `emerge --info`.
