Upstream released v2.0.5 recently.  This is a bugfix release which notably enables the FFADO audio framework to run on top of the newer FireWire kernel drivers.

Note, the linux1394.org URLs as listed in present libraw1394 ebuilds have been offline since mid 2009 and won't be resurrected.  I recommend for new libraw1394 ebuilds:
