When emergeing dev-lang/php after enabling the "simplexml" USE flag, emerge fails with:
 * ERROR: dev-lang/php-5.2.12 failed:
 *   make failed

emerge --info output attached

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable "simplexml" USE flag for dev-lang/php
2. emerge php
Actual Results:  
emerge failed

Expected Results:  
emerge success

You need to attach complete config.log and build.log here as told by the error message, otherwise noone can help you with this.
