Description Jacob Eisinger 2003-10-05 17:27:52 UTC
On the first start of X windows, everything works perfectly.

However, when I shutdown and X and try it again, 2/3 times, my monitor goes into
power saving and I can't switch terminals or revive my monitor in anyway. Also,
when I switch terminals to X (CTRL + ALT + F7), the same problem happens - my
monitor blanks on me.

Also to note, I can switch to a text terminal with my monitor blanked and type
in my root login and reboot to restart my computer.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start x windows
2. close down x
3. repeat steps 1 and 2 a couple of times until the monitor blanks

Actual Results:
my monitor has gone into powersaving, but my computer is still responsive

Expected Results:
X should come up and I should should see it.

Sorry, we can't do anything about binary drivers. Please attempt to contact PowerVR directly.
