Currently the sys-apps/smartmontools ebuilds have mailx as an RDEPEND for non-minimal installations -- but is it *really* an RDEPEND? The tool runs perfectly fine without mailx, and any mailer can be used by specifying "-M exec PATH.TO.MAILER" in /etc/smartd.conf

(Might it not be better to just have an einfo telling the users of a missing default mailer, instead of forcing me to "emerge --nodeps"?
