![]() ![]() On x86, looks like newer rake would need to get stabilized first: emerge: there are no ebuilds built with USE flags to satisfy "dev-ruby/rake[ruby_targets_ruby18]". !!! One of the following packages is required to complete your request: - dev-ruby/rake-0.8.7 (Missing IUSE: ruby_targets_ruby18) (dependency required by "dev-ruby/gruff-0.3.6-r1" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "gruff" [argument]) Oops, sorry about that. Stabilizing rake is going to be a bit involved due to additional dependencies, so my suggestion would be to wait for that to go through separately. I'll update this bug when we are good to go again. OK, I'm closing the bug to declutter the arches' bug search results. Please reopen when it's ready. Reopening since there is now a stabilization bug for rake. Rake is now stable on x86 and gruff passes the tests flawless with it. I would say it is ready on x86! :-) After unmasking gruff-0.3.6-r1: # emerge -1av gruff These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! emerge: there are no ebuilds built with USE flags to satisfy "dev-ruby/hoe[ruby_targets_ruby18]". !!! One of the following packages is required to complete your request: - dev-ruby/hoe-2.3.2 (Missing IUSE: ruby_targets_ruby18) (dependency required by "dev-ruby/gruff-0.3.6-r1" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "gruff" [argument]) (In reply to comment #6) This is strange!? i wonder how i got a newer dev-ruby/hoe, and why it doesn't get downgraded with an -uD world!? But yes, I get the same result with the older hoe! :-/ sdb ~ # emerge -av gruff * IMPORTANT: 2 news items need reading for repository 'gentoo'. * Use eselect news to read news items. Sorry, it seems I jumped the gun in several ways when filing this bug. amd64 stable stable x86, thanks Andreas ia64 stable, closing |
