When trying to emerge Heartbeat, i got an error about a missing library of  
libnet. Well libnet created a libnet1.1.a but not a libnet.a . I tried using a 
symlink, then the test whith configure did work, but i got a compile error. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge heartbeat without having libnet 1.0 installed 
2. 
3.	 
Actual Results:  
emerge did not complete 

Expected Results:  
;) emerge completes

I had the same problem, but it was resolved using libnet-1.1.0-r3.ebuild.
(it is marked ~x86, though)

we're going to need some error messages, some emerge info, which heartbeat
version, etc.
