We have an ebuild for the digital mars D compiler, would be nice to have teh gcc version of it as well. According to their webpage:
"GDC is a D language front end for the GNU Compiler Collection. It supports a number of targets and nearly all features of Digital Mars D."
so it's not some half working compiler.
