bump. The distfiles in the current ebuild does not even exist anymore: http://dev.gentoo.org/~ali_bush/distfiles/vecmath-1.5.1.tar.bz2 The cvs tricks mentioned in the ebuild comments also do not work: # cvs -d :pserver:alistair64@cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs login # cvs -d :pserver:alistair64@cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs export -r rel-1_5_1-fcs vecmath What however does work is getting that source tree from here: svn co https://svn.java.net/svn/vecmath~svn/tags/rel-1_5_1-fcs vecmath and building that distfile from there. My take on an updated ebuild which pulls from upstream SVN.
Removed the USE=test functionality, because I couldn't get it to build. AFAICS it doesn't work in the current 1.5.1 ebuild either.

Why not use sources from http://download.java.net/media/java3d/builds/release/1.5.1/vecmath-1_5_1-src.zip or http://download.java.net/media/java3d/builds/release/1.5.2/vecmath-1_5_2-src.zip because the distfiles in http://dev.gentoo.org/~ali_bush/distfiles/ are not accessible Alister Bush retired a while ago and his dev space has been taken down since.
