I don't use skype, but quite recently a lot work has went into both skype and pulseaudio to make them work toghether. But that *recently*. Not sure if that version of skype left beta stage already. Works fine here; [ebuild R ] media-sound/pulseaudio-0.9.21.1 USE="X alsa asyncns avahi bluetooth caps dbus glib hal ipv6 tcpd udev -doc -gnome -jack -libsamplerate -lirc (-oss) (-system-wide) -test" 0 kB [ebuild I R ] net-im/skype-2.1.0.81 USE="-qt-static" 0 kB cat ~/.asoundrc pcm.pulse { type pulse } ctl.pulse { type pulse } # Optional, set defaults pcm.!default { type pulse } ctl.!default { type pulse } |
