Hello,

the distmon_+* will show nothing on a working distcc System/Network.
I have installed it with:

sys-devel/distcc-3.1-r4  USE="gnome gtk -avahi -hardened -ipv6 (-selinux) -xinetd

Set DISTCC_DIR properly, I guess. It won't know where it is until you tell it to, and you're not telling us you already tried and failed to do that.
